What We Do?
UCoach have trained thousands of coaches, benefiting the wider tennis community. We train, assess and qualify coaches to become assistant coaches, coaches and leaders of industry in schools, clubs and centres across the UK.
We support the LTA coach licensing system by providing an extensive range of workshops to enable coaches to upgrade and develop their skill base and keep licences up to date.
Reaching out
We reach out to anyone with a desire to coach. The range of coaches includes; young coaching assistants, school teachers and leaders of clubs, retired tour players and experienced performance coaches, all with one aim, to develop their tennis coaching skills.
We encourage the LTA, course verifiers, clubs, schools, colleges, universities and other tennis communities to be actively involved in our coach education programme and to provide feedback to ensure we maintain a high quality of delivery.
We work to ensure equal access for all to quality training at all times.
It’s all about you
We take a holistic approach to learning where all coaches are valued as individuals and encouraged to reach their full potential in their own timeframe.

100% uptake on the Coach Courses
The coach education centres run by Ucoach are filling coach courses months before they start. We are actively encouraging successful assistant coaches to take the next steps on the coaching pathway.
Our Tutors
Our tutors are an experienced team of tennis experts from across the UK. All tutors are qualified coaches and have the LTA Certificate in Tutoring Skills. They attend regular LTA tutor training and are LTA licensed coaches. Our tutors are experienced in leading teams of coaches and delivering a range of tennis coaching programmes in club, school and local authority environments.
For workshops, we engage tutors that have specialist knowledge of areas such as strength and conditioning, tour tennis, tots tennis, schools tennis and mental skills. This ensures we deliver cutting edge experiences for our coaches in the field.
We ensure that the tutors understand the regional and local needs of the LTA field teams. They are regularly inspected through a rigorous internal and external verification process, to ensure a standardised delivery of courses throughout the country.
